Will there be protests against Bush at the Olympics?
Edited on Thu May-13-04 09:33 PM by prolesunited
The games in Greece are set for August. Given the worldwide disapproval for Bush and the situation in Iraq, do you think there will be protests at the Olympic games?

Have there been protests in the past?

Will they be allowed given heightened security?

4. I wish!
but "Old Europe" is less likely to swallow that 1st ammendment zone b.s.

I would imagine Spain alone will have a ton of people there

2. I would be surprised
if the United States wasn't the focus of any protest. Given what the shrub admin has done to the world in the name of freedom.

6. I'll let you guys know..
I will be in Athens visiting an aunt during the games. It will make it quite uncomfortable if it is anti-American and not anti-Bush protests. Althought i do think Greece knows the difference between Bush policy and the American peoples' will

14. that's the way they work. They kick back, take their time.
But when it comes to the crunch time, they do it.
