Will they be able to suppress the "other" Iraq prison photos?
The ones being shown to our noble legislators behind closed doors.

Never have certain cliches been so true, like "A picture is worth a thousand words," and "Out of sight, out of mind."

I find it hard to believe that they actually have control over EVERY copy of these photos. But Bushco and friends will certainly do every thing they can to keep them from being seen.

No amount of euphemisms from politely outraged senators will convey to the public what is actually going on. We need to see those pictures. Supressing them is cover-up.

show to Congress.

Follow the numbers, there were at least 1000 photos that never made their way to Congress.

I predict that since the official governement stance is now one of coverup, they'll come out in drips and drabs every which way from now until November.

3. they MUST show them to Supremes, the House, and State Governors
I think it's important that all three branches of the Federal Government witness these photos and at a minimum the Governors of the 50 States as well. I'd prefer to have them all released ASAP, but I can understand the reluctance.

4. Rumsfeld is claiming that he'd like to release all the photos, but
Rumsfeld is claiming that he'd like to release all the photos, but the Pentagon lawyers said not to, on the grounds that it would prejudice those who judge the accused.

Of course, anyone judging the case would view relevant photos at the time, anyway, so that argument isn't credible.

But I don't think the public will get to see those photos.

Who would cause their release?

No one will.

5. Hope not
I don't particularly want to see them but I think the whole nasty truth needs to be known by all of us. That way it can't be swept under the rug as the "actions of a few people"
