Three issues. . .
Why are you still promulgating the notion that Wes Clark spread rumors of John Kerry's alleged infidelity when it completely belies your journalistic acumen? That rumor was spread on Drudge, debunked in February on Imus, and Fox news (of all places, by CC Connelly). Knock it off.
Secondly, Peggy Noonan's description of "vulgarity versus savagery" minimizing the atrocities at Abu Graib and maximizing Nick Berg's heinous assassination is not at all mindful of the fact that the rest of the world has witnessed those innocents who have lost limbs and corpses who have lost their lives from our "smart bombs", daisy cutters, and cluster bombs. We have a totally censored and sanitized perspective on this war. According to the DOD, Iraqi casualties don't even count or even matter.
In the Muslim world, an honest and swift death is far more honorable than a lifetime of shame resulting from sexual degradation. As Lindsey Graham (R) said of the abuse of prisoners, "we're talking about rape and murder here." That is savagery. . ."American style. . .?" These go far beyond fraternity pranks.
Also the fact that I have yet to see you address the rather huge issue of the nefarious electronic voting machines is terribly disheartening.
There is no issue that threatens our democracy more. . .
All your speculative banter about the elections is completely irrelevant if the results are a foregone conclusion (aka rigged).
