I accused someone of "..acting LIKE A REPUBLICAN" yesterday..
Edited on Mon Aug-11-03 08:24 AM by radwriter0555
Some chick didn't like that my zoom zoom miata went faster than her big old gas guzzling 8 year old land rover. I was just going fast, and she took it upon herself to try to keep up. Apparently I was a threat to her manhood, because as we came up to one light, she tried to run me into oncoming traffic, and being in a convertable, I YELLED, "how RUDE! There's no reason to act like a republican!" I was easing into the turn lane ANYWAY, and she looked back in SHOCK as she pulled ahead, up to the stop light. Her mouth was open.

Good put down. "You're acting like a republican!" As in, you have to lie or cheat (or steal) to "win"?

2. Oh no, she'd been on my ass and was driving aggressively
as we went along. It was clear what was going on.

6. I have long been entertaining using "republican" as a pejorative
both as a noun and as an adjective to describe persons or behaviors that are particularly unenlightened or uncivilized, as in "That was positively republican of you."

Maybe we could get the meme started.

8. I acccused someone on yahoo games of being a republican...
lol.

We were playing a card game, and losing badly. My partner kept bashing me and blaming me for losing when, in reality, the cards were simply bad and he made mistakes as well.

I tried to remain silent but reached a point where I couldn't take any more criticism. That's when I lashed out saying something like 'I bet you're a republican, too.' Things deteriorated from there--but, the point was, he really did exhibit the classic symptoms of the most idiotic republicans: transference and projection.

13. NEW definition of REPUBLICAN: One who doesn't hesitate to LIE, CHEAT or
steal to get what they want.

I like it.

11. I tease my girlfriend sometimes by calling her a freeper.
Fortunately I don't really mean it, or I would be miserable with her. Oh, and she's a bit of a lurker around here, so she DOES take offense :)
