I really, really want to go on this. Joe Conason! Ann Richards! Sid Blumenthal! Joe "Be Still My Heart" Wilson!

Just think - I could rub elbows and hob knob (I've "hobbed" before, but never "knobbed") with our favorite pundits and write erudite and pithy commentary for you. (I give great "pith.")

Why, it would almost be like you were there! I'd send notes about the seminars, I'd wax eloquent about intimate dinners, I'd share gossipy tidbits about closing the bar and singing show tunes!

Come onnnnn, you guys. You know that at least one of us should go to represent DU and who better than moi?

Why right during the GOP convention? Shouldn't all these people be working to counter the propaganda that will spew out of the convention like all the ghosts in Ghostbusters when that dude shut off the power?
