This was in my someone on my buddylists profile(I dont like him very much). I looked through some of them, but not all. I went in with an open mind, but all I found was a bunch of paranoid delusionals who are afraid to admit that there is something fundamentally wrong with this country, and who believe that consumerism is good, the little man can still make it, and America is loved around the world(remember the terrorist hate our freedom). Some guy is even making a film called Micheal Moore Hates America, and I'm sure it will make millions after some rich conservative buys them in bulk, kinda like Anne Coulter's book. I think thses people are terriefied of Micheal Moore because he speaks the truth, so they're trying to find anyway they possible can to prove this man wrong. Maybe someday they'll realize this, but somehow I doubt it. I can't wait to see his new movie, that is of course, if I'm allowed to see it...:eyes:

Fuck that. Michael Moore's busted his ass to get where he is, and he's enjoying the fruits of those long and successful labors. If he can afford to live in a Park Avenue apartment and STILL maintain the liberal views that he's had since the beginning and, indeed, actively lobby for the rest of us on a day-to-day basis, I think that's just great.

This man has done so many good things for "our side". "Roger & Me" and "Bowling for Columbine" are classics of documentary filmmaking. His best-selling books have brought liberal rage into the homes of "Joe Sixpacks" who would have otherwise picked up one of Coulter's or Hannity's ludicrous screeds. His next movie appears to be devastating--the Ace of Spades that will finally topple the Bush house of cards.

So the fuck what if he has a few million dollars? If people here really think that you have to be broke to be a Dem, that making a lot of money in the capitalist system is "selling out", then I'm definitely on the wrong forum. That sounds like Freeper disinformation bullshit to me.

"Bowling for Columbine" grossed $21 million total. Most blockbuster action films gross that much on the first weekend. If Moore wanted to sell out, he could have done it years ago and made a hell of a lot more than what he's got now. Is he doing well financially? I hope so. Lord knows I've given him a decent chunk of his personal wealth and I don't begrudge him one bit of it.

(though I guess Zeus had some scratch, too. you just don't get a hottie like Hera with an empty back account)
