Is The Recall Just To Stop The Lawsuit?

It has beren pointed out that puttying a Repug Governor in California through the recall effort may not have any impavt on the 2004 election. A Repug Governor may not be able tosingle handedly rig California's vote, sending the state into the red.

So what the hellis up with the reacall, doesanyone believe it is not sanctioned by the Bushies?

What if the true reason behind this recall is to protect Cheney? Stop the lawsuit, or at least sabatoge the effort, pay back the Repugs corporate buddies, and protect the interests of any Bush administration officials that may be involved?

How much influence over this lawsuit does the California Governor have?

to rig some polls indicating California will be swinging red in the next election and what if they did the same in Florida and Texas. If those electoral votes are for the Republican candidate, then the next leap of logic would be to declare no need for elections because Bush is a shoo-in anyway.

I know. No one would have the cojones to do this. However, this is how dictatorships gain power without a revolution. First they rig elections and once they consolidate their power there is no elections.
