South Florida Dems: Vote Sam Sheldon

I am writing to make a shameless plug for my frind and fellow law student Sam Sheldon who is running for Congress against Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

At age 28, Sam Sheldonwould be the youngest member of Congress. Sam has decided to forego a high-paying legal career because he wants to serve.

Sam Sheldon keeps a copy of Bush v Gore in his pocket. He remembers what Republicans did in their "bourgeois riot" that stopped the vote count in Miami. His candidacy is a voice for democracy in the heart of Katherine Harris Country.

Sam Sheldon is running an aggressive media campaign to expose his opponent's ties to terrorism. His opponent played a key role in obtaining a presidential pardon for Orlando Bosch, a terrorist responsible for the deaths of 73 civilian airline passengers

And she has also been one of Congress' most outspoken supporters of the Mujahedin-e Kalq (MEK), who have been on the State Department's list of terrorist groups since 1997, and who are also responsible for the recent deaths of American soldiers in Iraq.

Sam Sheldon has the integrity and good judgment to maintain a consistent policy, and will neither excuse nor equivocate with respect to terror and criminal violence. He is not afraid to speak truth to power.
