Will Bush attempt to pull a Grover Cleveland in '08
Edited on Tue May-18-04 07:29 PM by ann_coulter_is_a_man
and try to have a comeback with a 2nd nonconsecutive term if he loses in '04?

just a suspicion I have. this crowd will not retire quietly and will use it's media empire to try to derail a prewsident kerry every step of the way. if you thought the way they acted from 93-01 was bad, just wait til you see how nasty they'll get. all, of course, for dumbya's attempt to triumphantly ride back on a white stallion in '08 to clean up the mess those "lib'rul demonrats" made

2. LOL. How will I handle the tax burden if I win the lottery?
similar thought in that it would be a nice problem for us to have and a bit too early to ponder the answer to such questions.

Let's just make sure he loses and that becomes a plausible debating point.

VOTE!

or as Diebold would tell his computer geeks: "Vote early and often"

Nahh...if you win the lottery...
you'd better be thinking..."How much cash will i give to my ever loyal brother?" LOL

J/K... I think it more likely that they will put Jeb up the next go around, realizing that G is a lost cause.

EB

PS...VOTE! and bring a friend or twenty

8. I not sure of that...
I like to think that this is it for the Bush Family. Let's face it, I believe we will hear a huge collective sigh of relief when GW leaves the White House. I don't think any other member of the Bush Crime Family will have a chance at seizing this country again. At least, I hope this will never happen again.

9. a Kansas Dem? must be as rare as a Kansas mountain.
LOL. I used to live in Kansas for quite awhile. Diehard GOP country, and Harpers had a fascinating article about that.

You ought to move to Ohio for a month since your vote is not pivotal in that state. LOL.

3. No, too much of a track record
Bush's failures as a leader are too well documented for Bush to even think of a comeback.

That is, if * decides not to pull a Cleveland, which obviously won't happen if things are better by then.

13. That's right.
If it were any bush in '08, it'd have to be Jethro. That's why after getting Kerry in office the next order of business should be to shine the light on Jethro and see what scurries towards the woodwork.

12. If he's successfully uninstalled (think computer virus) he's done
That will be the end of his public life, and Jeb will never be President either. For him to be prized out of this job, he will have had to be so humiliated that the taint will be inescapable.

I dream of him living a long and healthy life, sitting in the corner in that Napoleon hat, sucking on a liter of Beam as he sticks pins into the crotch of his little Kerry doll. The phone never rings. The news is a ghastly dread to him, and the mere sound of certain theme songs can cause violent outbursts.

His last public appearances will be at the memorial service for his parents and paparazzis will vie for years afterward for a good photo of the Lord of Crawford. Hoaxes abound, and his memoirs are bought by the box load by unknown individuals who have them shipped to warehouses where they disappear. The Presidential Lie-berry becomes a coven for reactionary polyandrous witches who live through the protection of shadowy End-timers, and strange rumors abound of sacrifice and hexes. Laura is never seen again, and the twins intermarry with South American Oligarchs. Birds fall dead from the sky near Waco from a mysterious life-sapping ailment that baffles ornithologists everywhere, and the whisperings of strange goings-on periodically flare into mini-scandals, only to be routinely quashed by untimely deaths. Texas becomes a vortex for all ill in the universe, and with insurrection rife at the ham-handed treatment of all non-fundamentalists, the state exercises its right to divide into five separate states, thus causing a small increase in conservatives in Congress, but a nullification of the former Republic's influence in general.

Life is good again.
