Can anybody help me with a protest video?

Leonard Cohen did a song called Everybody Knows that has been stuck in my head and it lends itself to a kick-ass vid about the current state of affairs. I've played it for a few other folks who just get creeped out by it, and I think it can have an impact.

What I'm seeing is a flash presentation of images set to this song. In part, the lyrics go:

Specifically, I'm seeing Bush standing in front of that damn Mission accomplished banner when it gets to the part about "Everybody knows that the boat is leaking, Everybody knows the captain lied..."

When it hits the section "Everybody wants a box of chocolates
And a long stem rose, Everybody knows..." I'd like to use that photo from the planeload of dead soldiers being returned to the US--the flag draped coffins.

I'm also seeing photos of naked Iraqi POW's when it gets to the verse beginning with "Everybody knows that you love me baby
Everybody knows that you really do..." Specifically with the photo of the POW with the hood on his head in the "crucifixion" pose photo.

I have never worked with any of the video production software and I need help. I also am looking for ideas for more images.

Anybody want to take this on?

Did them on Fruity Loops and Acid Pro, was thinking of the same thing your putting together now. I didn't want any lyrics thou. I was just thinking a flash presentation of pictures and headlines that would tell the tale so to speak

Lyrics can distract, but Cohen's voice is so mournful that I think it adds to the impact in this case. There are pieces you hear and they just creep you out--Mozart's Requiem was that way for me--it felt like death was coming somehow. In this case, his voice is so resigned with almost a sort of bitter humor to it...
