Franken's Rushbot says liberals focus on the bad about US, unlike wingers.

Like Mr. Sunshine, Rush himself. :wow:

PS: For example, lefties talk about factories that shut down and kill jobs. Wingers would talk about factories that opened and created jobs. ;)

3. Mark is starting to think.
I don't really see any strong evidence of that. I think he's as entrenched in his way of thinking as ever. I'm starting to hate the sound of that man's voice.

2. Let Me Make This As Simple As Possible For All The Freeper Types.
Bad things tend to be, well... covered up and need to be fixed. Good things do not and they stand on their own merit.

4. He brought up the latest jobs figures! I guess he didn't read the
New York post that said the jobs numbers for April and May were pretty much fabricated by brazen formulas.

He sounds like he really believes it, too.
So so sad.

But sympathy for him is a waste of my time. :spank:

5. Wingers love the US like a baby loves mommy
Lefties see the warts and want to fix them!

(this is a paraphrase of a Franken concept I believe - unless it's Maher)

8. If they were left to that, then they wouldn't have much to talk about
eh?

Unless they were talking about other countries.

We're becoming a third-world power.

9. Liberals have to focus because wingers are in denial
Liberal: The building's on fire! We must rescue the occupants and put out the fire!

Winger: Look at all the buildings that aren't on fire! You never call any attention to them!

I can't listen to the dittohead segment anymore. It's one of my preventative medical measures to keep my bile from overflowing. I respect Al for maintaining a lifelong friendship with him and so I grant he must have redeeming features; but he ain't my friend and I ain't listening.

11. Its an accurate if misinformed view
It coincides with the filter through which the right views things. It believes it has a system that functions and that is what is important. Society does in fact find a balance point at which it works.

The left meanwhile partakes in self examination and questioning of whether we can improve ourselves. It finds examples of unjust bias (think equal rights) and drags these factors out in front of the population and tries to rectify matters. It tries to correct the wrongs. The trouble is of course right or wrong are not connected to the functionality of the society.

Slavery was a vital part of the Southern economy. Their society quite simply could not imagine functioning without it. Right or Wrong did not matter. Functionality was what they saw.

Equal rights and jobs for women seriously upended the economy. Just because its the right thing to do does not mean it will make the world a better place in all ways.

Our society is entwined around all manner of falsehoods and injustices. Removing them is the lefts idea of bettering the world. The right sees it as looking for trouble because we hate America. We hate what it is now. And they see what it is now as functional.
