1. I don't want to see them
but absolutely they should be made available.

9. the 50 State Governors and legislature MUST see the pictures
and all the evidence, as soon as possible. We have prima facie evidence of war crimes, and it's a big enough deal we need all levels of government as witnesses now.

11. I saw those latest two
it makes me ashamed as a veteran of the military, as an American, as a woman, as a human being; I feel sick.

14. Someone has had to send them
home to friends via email...they've got them but might be too scared to post them anywhere in fear of their lives...They NEED to be shown, all of them...we can't let them cover this up any longer as they're doing..Then who's involved, to the top, goes to the hague.

12. Yup - the administration has chosen to try and hide the rest of the
pictures, but as we can see they will come out slowly but surely with devastating consequences. These new ones are even more disgusting than the first because they had nothing to do with "softening" up anyone unless they softened him up too much and gloated over it!

15. I agree, let's don't play games with 'em.
I definitely want all the photos out NOW.

We are the government we are the people that deserves to know the truth about our people. This knowledge should not be just for the folks that think they run this country.

4. I'd rather they trickle out
and stay in the public eye day after day rather than all being dumped on the market at once, overwhelming the average Murican's attention span. The whole batch would not get seen and would be completely forgotten within 5 to 7 days. There's more impact this way.

8. I'm not so sure about that.
Americans do tend to have short attention spans, as well as, short memories. If it's drawn out too long they may just start to tune it out, and end up not paying attention at all.

13. I agree, I don't think trickling is a good idea
people become desensitized over time, and after awhile it won't have much of an impact at all. I have to admit when I saw the two latest photos I didn't feel anywhere near the jolt I felt when I first saw the group of photos originally released or the second group released soon afterward. The fact we already saw this man with the ice around him made it less "sensational" and felt almost like old news.

I think the broadest impact would be to release them all at once.

I was going to mention the desensitizing issue myself, but couldn't think of the word I wanted. My brain is mud tonight!

10. I couldn't agree more!
This slow release makes us consider each and every photo as it comes out. If there were a massive release, people would remember 4 bad pictures for about 4 weeks. This should continue right on thru the convention.

5. I am a bit frightened,
I am in complete favor of them coming out but I will admit, it frightens me to think about viewing the horrors that were committed in Iraq in the name of freedom, liberation and democracy. I don't think words can describe the disgusting things we did to Iraqi civilians and the thought of *seeing* the pictures frightens me a bit. I can't put my finger on why exactly, it just does.

6. If we play politics with them we're as bad as the torturers.
Smiling over a dead body? Is this how we want to be remembered?

20. Disgusting
Just so they don't go unnamed---The smilers are Sabrina Harmon and that creep Graner.

Americans are already desensitizing over the prison torture scandal. And I agree with the short attention span comments. I think we definitely need to publish the pictures on all the CDs to keep the public from falling back into denial and complacency. Not that the majority won't once again fall back into those comfort zones. The lies of our moral superiority have to be exposed, just because they are lies.

The truth will set you free...

You know, I didn't used to hate America, but considering what it has become under George W. Bush and his gang of thieves, I'm beginning to learn.

17. New CD!
Now there is another CD full of photos.

"horrors that were committed in Iraq".

Not just in Iraq but GETMO and Afghanistan where the Military has stated no one will be allowed to inspect those prison camps because
"It would disrupt the ongoing program."

The Govt., Military and many in Congress are trying to stop the investigations. The truth will kill the golden gose of war profiteering.

23. after seeing the two new ones today, I agree we should see them
because guys like Rush Limbaugh and Hannity will be/should be shamed literally to death for the things they've said about "frat pranks" and "letting off steam".

These people are posing with corpses for God's sake.

They're letting them out a little at a time.

I think they want a regime change.
