Investigation into White House leak of Joseph Wilson's wife???
What the heck happened to that??? It seems like it was before Christmas when that investigation was starting and seemingly nothing has happened since. He was on the Daily Show recently. I know there are other issues out there, but I can't believe how forgotten it has become...Kevin.

on the progress of an actual criminal investigation.

2. Yeah, what happened to it?
It heated up a while back like someone was hot on the trail of Scooter or his boss and then all of a sudden there is total silence.

Are there official web sites for these investigations, where they give some sort of a status?

And by-the-way Ken Lay has not been mentioned much lately either. Isn't it odd that Martha gets sentenced before "Kenny-Boy" gets indicted. I guess he is safe as long as Bush is in office.

Oh, Osama. I guess he is safe as long as Bush is in office.

Anthrax anyone? I guess he is safe as long as Bush is in office.

Bush is very loyal to those who are loyal to him.

3. Well, BushCo just turned up the heat and arranged...
...prisoner abuse pictures to come out. They knew the media would be flooded with those for weeks if not right through the election. Beats having to go through senate hearings on possible impeachment for treason or criminal misconduct by the White House. They already got one grunt to take the fall!

4. It's doubtful her peers have forgotten about it. They might be busy right
now dripping out the details of prisoner torture as it relates to chain of command.

The top echelon in bush's gang is being 'softened up' (to use an Abu Ghraib phrase) before the Plame effort goes full tilt.

Visualize the bushies being knocked to their knees, unable to get up while facing mounting Abu Ghraib/Guantanamo/Geneva Conventions charges.

Once they're properly prepped I bet the Plame outing will descend like a lead mantle and flatten them.

6. "leaking" the Iraqi torture might be CIA payback
After all, who leaked the Taguba report?

Who leaked some of the other info?

And the CIA left the prisons, 'not their style".

We could be seeing the first of the CIA revenge.

10. Who provided all the information on the connection between Prescott...
...Bush and the Nazis? And specifically who would have known about the information pertaining to the money loaned to the Nazis from the Union Bank used to build Auschwitz?

And what caused Poppy Bush to suddenly resign from the Carlysle Group? Could it have been something that the CIA knew about Poppy...such as why he was really in Dallas on November 22, 1963?

And don't you think it was interesting that a sizeable faction of the media suddenly began to report real news almost immediately following the exposure of Valerie Plame and her operation?

7. the grand jury will wind up its investigation soon.
expect an announcement of some sort from the Justice Dept within a week or two. (Unless they decide they need more investigation.) One of the reporters got called a few days ago, haven't heard what came of that (duh, it's secret)

The pendulum is moving. be patient.

8. No, Joe was on several talk shows recently. Fed investigator still
working on it and it's still high priority. Joe said it hasn't been solved yet bacause there's no WH co-operation. Imagine that!

He seems to think there will be a comclusion within the next month or two.

I trust Joe, and I'm sure he's keeping current on what's happening.

9. Fitzgerald just asked for a meeting with some newspaper person
I think it was supposed to happen this week, not sure.
Seemed like it might have been important. I realize this
is cryptic but I can't remember which publication the person
worked for.

11. Members of the press are going to be interviewed
The special prosecutor probing whether the Bush administration illegally disclosed a CIA operative's name has asked at least three publications to allow him to interview journalists who have written about the leak.
