YOu can see an abrupt increase in the methodology of the pro-Bush "Astroturf".

Both here and on Yahoo Message Board there is a trend of using ridicule as a response. No matter what is suggested, the response is always to build a straw man to ridicule. All of a sudden, the majority of them are using this tactic.

Am I the only one noticing this?

Your right in suggesting there is a trend/system of "using ridicule as a response" or a method of virtually every standup comic of the past decade...(If you WANT to change the system, then your an idiot and an object of ridicule...that sorta thing is readily available on DVD)

Also noted a certain lack 'insight' into the 'political' culture other than abrasive dismissives (as you mention), one-liners from the Simpsons, frequent references to the Jon Stewart Show and particularly in DU a 'call' to watch CSPAN or 'DU' this poll...
