A Bible Belt Observation
I commute an hour each way to work every day. My workplace is in the Metro Nashville area.

I would think that, in this part of the country, I'd be seeing tons of Bush/Cheney bumper stickers. Especially with a little over six months until the election.

But I'm not.

Today, I saw a total of two. Only one of them was for the 2004 election. The other was a weather-worn 2000 sticker on the back of a Lexus.

Granted, I'm not seeing Kerry stickers either. But the lack of Bush stickers in Middle Tennessee is ... promising.

I've only seen one.

See lots of "Flags" and "yadda yadda Americas" though.

3. North Carolina
I'm not in North Carolina, but I was looking at some data that Kerry was getting a lot of money, or at least many donations, from North Carolina. I'll have to track down the web site with that info.

4. Ah here we go...

You can take a couple of looks at North Carolina

It's interesting. Of course, money giving does not give an indication of support. Bill Gates can afford to give a lot more than I can, I morally support a lot of things I can not afford to financially support. Or more importantly, I support them with my time.

6. Even the formerly aggressive Busheviks are strangely silent now.
I think he's going to lose big, and in some surprising places.
