Imus has strange humor
Rudy G should be President. ugh

Told Bernard and Charles defending the Bush attacks on McCain they should get an anuarism.

What a show, and some people are listening to Howard Stern.

1. Imus has no humor. And about 5 times as many people listen to Stern
Imus so wishes he was as talented as Stern. Stern showed him how to (attempt to) do a show.

2. he makes me sick...he sounds like an old drunk
and he needs to go. He just called Hillary Clinton buck-toothed and continues to bash her. What an old crusty prick.

3. According to Howard. He used to reduce black women co-workers to tears
by berating them and calling them niggers. Imus doesn't deny it.

9. imus
is very funny and humorous. he isnt serious when he tells bernard and charles to get anurysms. they tell him all the time to die.

he openly admits he is an angry ex-drunk. he makes fun of everyone.

lets not forget that he supported clinton in 1992 and often had him on the show, all the while making fun of him. he went too far, by his own admission, at the radio and TV dinner where in his own words "my speech was terrible and flop sweat dripped from my brow".

he often has kerry on his show and supports him for president this year. does he make fun of hillary, sure, but he also had her on his show not long ago. imus is an equal opportunity attacker.

yes he did berate and use profanity towards black workers years ago, but he was also an active alcholic and cocaine addict at the time. he has been off of both for years.

with stern you get a never ending stream of d**k, fart jokes and him getting women to take their clothes off for him. after a while its no longer funny.

peace
david

12. The only people who believe that all Stern does is dick+fart jokes and
having women strip are people who don't listen to his show. He would not be as successful as he is if he was as simplistic as his immitators. I listen to him probably 15 times a month at least and I have never once heard him do one dick or fart joke.

4. If MSNBC showed video of the previous Al Franken radio
If MSNBC showed video of the previous Al Franken radio broadcast during the Don Imus timeslot, MSNBC would get 10 times the rating.

8. Imus Called The Bush Family Crooks
I check out both Stern and Imus. I saw that bit and it surrounded the criticism of the 9/11 hearing yesterday and Imus was defending Guiliani. Honestly, I was impressed with Rudy's testimony as well. Imus slipped in that the government needs more people like Rudy & McCain and Joe Biden rather than that hideous EVIL bush family. That's what set off the exchange...

I don't think Charles defended Bunnypants as much as played Devil's Advocate...McGirk...well, he's so full of kool-aid it squirts out both ears. Imus used the exchange to give a back-door endorsement to Kerry without mentioning his name, just in mentioning the company he keeps.

Imus went on to mention McCain could have been the GOOP nominee, but the evil bush family made calls in South Carolina. When asked what type of calls, Imus said..."telling folks McCain fathered a black baby". Whoa! This was stuff that you only saw here just a few months ago. Now it's out on MSNBC and a radio network with several million listeners.

Imus is tight with McCain and I think he's gotten the green light from McCain to play media proxy against RoveCo. I think we're starting to see this fight break into the open (after Hastert The Bastard's stupid attack yesterday) and it's gonna be a blood bath; hopefully before the election .

BTW...on Stern, he was talking about the latest riff between Mel Karmazin (Howard's Boss) and Sumner Redstone over control of Viacom (CBS, Infinity Radio)...Mel's been Howard's biggest defender and is Clear Channel's biggest nightmare. I'm hoping this is just media buzz...Mel's radio division is the Viacom crown jewels these days; especially with Stern's ratings on the rise.

I had stopped watching Imus for a while...I got sick of the non-stop Clinton bashing and the shilling for this regime. Now he's definitely moved in our direction, and that's a good thing. He's not a liberal and this is not a liberal show...it's more liberatarian...and if this is the message going out to those folks (many who voted for Bunnypants in 2000) that helps dump this regime, why complain????

14. He called Kerry a
nit-wit and said why do we have to choose between these two. I thought that was a stab in Kerry's back.

17. He's Also Endorsed Kerry...
Keep in mind, the ultimate goal here is to win an election, not a popularity contest...see how that hurt us last time.

Cheers!

11. I think he's funny.
Rep. Harold Ford is on now. In fact, Ford (D)Tennessee, is on the show fairly often. I think Ford is one of the brighter prospects for the future of the democratic party. He gets more of an opportunity to speak openly on the Imus show than any other four news/talk shows combined. I think that is pretty important.

15. Unlistenable
I was forced to listen to that corpse's show in Atlanta when I lived there due to lack of anything else. It's one of the worst radio shows I've ever heard.

And let's not even get into how he cons his dopey listeners into buying land for him out west by exploiting cancer kids.

16. One nice thing
about the democratic party is that it's big enough for people with a wide variety of tastes. People who like Imus are able to enjoy his strange show, and those who do not like him are free to watch or listen to other morning shows. Not a problem. My teen-aged son said this morning that you need to be old, bitter, and dehydrated to like Imus. (No MTV for him!) And that's fine. It's not a case of "oh, you just don't get it." He gets it, just doesn't want it. And if donating to a cause that benefits kids with cancer isn't your thing, there are hunderds of other "causes" worth supporting by investing a few bucks now and then.

19. I've never understood why anyone listens to him
When he tries to be funny, he's not funny.

He's not bright enough to do the political interviews he does.

And he spends half his time selling his stupid merchandise.

I would rather listen to Stern listening to Imus than listen to Imus.
