http://www.mcalesternews.com/articles/2004/05/19/news/local_news/news04.txt Neighbors of Arkansas gun show dealer Roger Moore doubt his claim that he had been robbed of guns, coins and cash in 1994 at his rural residence near Hot Springs, Ark.
The neighbors - all members of the same family - said they observed suspicious things about Moore after he asked to use a phone to report the robbery. Moore told them the phone lines at his house had been cut.

Authorities contend Nichols robbed Moore to help finance the April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City bombing. Moore said he had been robbed by a man wearing a black hood, who bound him with tape and plastic ties and ransacked his home. Timothy McVeigh had previously stayed at Moore's residence.

Powell said when he and his son, Lance, went back with Moore to Moore's residence, Moore showed them exactly where his phone lines had been cut outside - although he had supposedly went straight to the Powells' house after the robbery.
"It was like something was 'put on,'" Powell said. "In my opinion, he didn't act like it was a real thing." Powell's wife, Verda Powell, said she had the impression Moore was "play-acting."
