Who do you see as the main "Al Qaeda" players besides Cheney and Rumsfeld?

And just how the hell do we stop an enemy so well funded (from our tax money and our evil corporations) - and with such great access to our media (Faux News, CNN, Limpblob, and C.I.A, er, "Islamic" Websites)...?

This IS going to be one helluva long war against a truly ruthless enemy who hates us for our freedoms, isn't it?

Perle, Kristol and all involved with the Weekly Standard, etc. We are in danger from people's ignorance of their world view that support them in the church's, general media, business, etc. that unknowingly buy into their propaganda.

7. bottm line

I don't see how one defeats terrorism by enraging the world. You can't defeat terrorist organizations by conquering countries, turning your back on international institutions, laws, treaties, and norms, mistrusting and spying on your citizens who disagree, throw away our constitution and suspending civil rights, insult and threaten long time allies, economic sanctions, etc. Only through working in co-operation with the world will bear long term fruit. Those countries that don't want to fight terrorism or that support it will then be the ones isolated, not us.
