http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040511/ap_on_re_us/nichols_trial_7McALESTER, Okla. - Prosecutors at bombing conspirator Terry Nichols' murder trial challenged a defense witness Tuesday who said he saw a group of people near a Ryder truck at a lake in Kansas the day before the Oklahoma City bombing.
Charles Farley of Wakefield, Kan., said the Ryder truck and another truck loaded with ammonium nitrate fertilizer was at Geary Lake on April 18, 1995, the day before a homemade bomb destroyed the Oklahoma City federal building, killing 168 people.
State prosecutors allege that Nichols helped bomber Timothy McVeigh (news - web sites) build the 4,000-pound ammonium-nitrate-and-fuel-oil bomb at the lake and pack it into the truck that day.

Farley identified the man as Morris Wilson, former commander of the Kansas Citizens Militia who was depicted in a photograph shown to Farley by prosecutor Suzanne Lister.

Farley originally said he was alone when he saw the vehicles and men, but later said he had his daughter with him. He also provided details about the vehicles he saw that were different from his original statements.
Lister also pointed out that Wilson was in jail at the time Farley claimed he saw him at Geary Lake.
