"Bush is an incompetent leader. In fact, he's not a leader,'' Pelosi said.
"He's a person who has no judgment, no experience and no knowledge of the subjects that he has to decide upon.''

BLUNT ASSESSMENT: San Francisco's Nancy Pelosi calls Bush 'incompetent' and lacking in judgment

(snip)

"He has on his shoulders the deaths of many more troops, because he would not heed the advice of his own State Department of what to expect after May 1 when he ... declared that major combat is over,'' Pelosi charged. "The shallowness that he has brought to the office has not changed since he got there.'"

(snip)

"Not to get personal about it, but the president's capacity to lead has never been there. In order to lead, you have to have judgment. In order to have judgment, you have to have knowledge and experience. He has none,'' Pelosi said.

1. AT LAST! the truth is spoken by one of our so called leaders
How long did it take one person to mention in government to mention the emperor has no clothes?

4. Ummm... there have been some saying it for some time now
Dennis Kucinich leaps immediately to mind. So does Bernie Sanders. Likewise with Jan Schiakowsky and Jesse Jackson, Jr.

Of course, hearing these comments from the House Democratic Leader helps give them a little more weight.

Go Nancy!

7. Yeah I'd have to say it's too little too late
Why wasn't she holding press conferences declaring this before the bombs started to fall?

Thanks, leaders!

This little girl would like to thank you as well:

8. I knew someone was going to trot out their candidate
But really I'd like to see a link proving anyone that is in a current government position that said "Bush is incompetent." or "Bush is not a leader."

Which is more direct than saying "We need leadership, I can offer real leadership" ect.

If Kucinich HAS said that, I appologize. And as straight shooting as Dean has been I don't think he's actually said those words.

10. Thinking the same thing. Our folks need to be blunt and direct
with comments such as these. They don't need to let up.

3. Finally someone is speaking the truth!!
Wow, that is great!

She is absolutely right. It's just too bad that it's taken this long for people to publicly describe these truths.

Bush and his cronies are all incompetent. They should all be fired. And punished.

5. Not a leader, but there isn't a better MISleader in the U.S.
Unless it's Cheney, Rummy, Wolfowitz, etc., etc., ad nauseam.

"Not to get personal about it, but the president's capacity to lead has never been there ..."

Oh, I would say that's getting pretty darn personal, Nancy.

6. He is King Midas in reverse .....
as one DUer put it (wish I could remember, be happy to give credit).

Everything he touches turns to shit and goes up in flames.

These people are rank amateurs, that's what gets me. Condi Rice? A fucking academic amateur, has no more business being NSA than I do piloting an aircraft carrier.

Bush has failed upwards his whole life. He's a disaster.

13. I SO agree with you about Rice
She is about a planet out of her league. GAWD, what I'd give to have someone hold them accountable or even admit that they screwed up and leave them crying in shame for the rest of their days.

9. Hmmm, well, bit of a different tune from yesterday...
...when she helped hand numbnuts his new $25 billion for Iraq with no congressional oversight on how the money is spent. And that includes Rumsfeld's $5 billion slush fund.

11. Nice words, Nancy. Now stand up against EVERYTHING the
neocons put forth from here on out. No more handing them money, or votes on insane bills. Stick to your guns, woman!

12. It's indeed about time...but will the spineless democrats follow Pelosi's
lead, or just sit back and ignore it and shiver, wait and hope to ge re-elected with the easy life in the House & Senate?

Haven't the spineless Democrats figured out yet that people are waiting in the millions for them to kick Bush's ass in public forum?
(Who gives a shit what the idiot republicans sheep voters think?)

Michael Moore has proven the huge anti-Bush appetite in this country and how hungry people are for their Democratic "leaders" (forget about Daschle, he's a lost cause, worried and from a "red state" he'll make a bold anti-Bush statement about once every four month's big deal.) to stand up, and attack BushCo. Now!!!
