Lame response from John Podhoretz

I wrote to John Podhoretz last night. I've sent him tactful critiques of his "articles" before, but never got a response. Trying something different, I sent him a strident email and actually got a response from him. His response was rather lame and on par with"don't quit your day job"

Here's what I sent to him.

"Hey, you shitbird, Josh Marshall just exposed you for the
hypocritcal, craven, chickenshit, chickenhawk that you truly are. Read the words and think about what a worthless piece of shit you are."

I then added the text of Josh Marshall's TPM entry from yesterday, in which he singles out Podhoretz's attempt to blame anti-war proponents for the failure in Iraq

This is the reply I got from Podhoretz;note his passe attempt at the sarcastic put down.

Sorry, but your letter reads like a 15 year old wrote it and delivered it via paper airplane.

It's probably more than he deserved, though. Maybe if you had written it in crayon?
