Screw Ralph Nader! I have never regretted anything as much as my vote for
him!!!!

If you support this fucking asshole, REPUG piece of shit then you are are a fucking freeper as far as I am concerned.

I voted for that piece of shit in 2000, I honestly think that this may be the biggest regret of my lifetime.

I thought that he had integrity, I thought he gave a shit, but I have never been more wrong. If this asshole goes on one more fucking show and bashes Kerry I think I might just have an aneurism.

FUCK THAT PIECE OF SHIT! FUCK THE MEDIA WHORES! FUCK FREEPER REPUGS AND THEIR GOD, DUBYA!

I guess I feel a little better, after venting but this thread is designated for Nader and GOP hating. So have at it bash them to your hearts content...

1. What state were you in when you voted for him?
Did you trade your vote with someone in a battleground state if you're not in a battleground state?

6. You have nothing to regret. I don't even think FL'ians should blame...
...themselves if they voted for Nader. The only reason their votes made a difference was because 300,000 legitimate votes weren't counted, and I'm sure Bush would have stolen a couple more even if Nader voters voted for Gore.

23. Hey, it's 20/20 hindsight.
You had no way of knowing how close the election would be and the twisted distortion had on the election outcome.

Fact is, you learned from that. It's the ones who plan on commiting the same mistake again that makes me wonder about their political acumen.

5. I hear ya!
Like you, I voted for Nader in 2000, and like you, I too regret my vote today. And not even because it helped Bush get elected (actually, it didn't, because I voted in California knowing that Gore would get my state's electoral votes anyway), but because it became obvious that Nader is a self-absorbed, pompous jerk who is less interested in steering the country towards a vision than in feeding his own ego.

8. I'm glad Nader is in the race
As Kerry continues to pander, Nader is the only measure we will have of the left's dissatisfaction. When Nader gets into the teens, then Kerry might wake up to the need for some vision and principles.

15. Look pal, I am all for a multi-party system and that jazz
But I feel sorry for anyone that honestly believes that Nader is anything but a GOP tool.

This is a Nader BASHING thread, if you have something nice to say about him, please for my own sanity, DON'T.

17. Feel sorry for me. I'm pretty sure he is not GOP tool.
I think Republicans might give him money out of desperation, but I think he actually helps pull the dialogue to the left.

I'd be more suspiciouns of "liberals" being unwitting tools of the right by shouting down every decent idea Nader proposes just because it comes out of Nader's mouth. That's a bigger danger to progress than Nader, in my mind.

18. I really don't care
what Nader is. And I haven't said anything good about him. All I'm saying is that with Nader in the race there is a measure of how much a progressive message is resonnating with the voters. I'm simply glad that that's there for Kerry to see.

25. If he would go on talk shows and actually pushing a progressive agenda
then maybe I would be ok with him, but he's not. The entire time he is on any talk show he talks about how how there is no real difference between Kerry and Bush! I mean really WTF! If he went in and did nothing but bash on Bush, I would be more than happy to have him around, but as long as he continues to tell people that there is no difference, he is a lying asshole that is helping George W. Bush.

I did not mean to go off on you but I have had it up to my arm pits with Nader. I am totally pissed with anyone that claims to be a liberal and then says that they plan on voting for Nader. A real liberal that cares about the world, its people, and the environment understands that getting rid of Bush is priority numero ono. Everyone else is just being as pig headed as the ignorant freeptards that believe everything they see on Faux.

However, since you do not know me and can not hear my voice, I hope that you do not get offended by my excessive use of the exclamation point. It is a shame that there is no font to indicate mood or inflection, I am a very nice and friendly person. Hell, I was one vote short of being the friendliest girl in my high school year book for goodness sake. You'd never know that, though, from my often ALL CAP/exclamation point posts.

Think of it this way, you learned your lesson and you won't repeat it. Unlike those 700 people who showed up in Oregon. And really, me and my group of friends thought it would be bad, but we had no clue it would be THIS bad. Hell even I was thinking of throwing my vote to Nader as a protest vote. I didn't because I was scared to death of dubya though. Oh well.

22. Look, just because I enjoy using foul language does not mean that
I have no brian. I am totally pissed at that asshole, unless Nader decides to drop out in Oct, he is HELPING the GOP steal another election. It is just one more factor that will help their case. I am well versed in what Nader believes, I voted for him in 2000 b/c I was stupid enough to believe that he actually gave a shit. If he doesn't drop out by Nov, then I'm sorry, he obviously could care less about the havoc that Bushco plans to unleash in their second term. I now feel like Nader is just PANDERING to far lefties in hopes of inflating his own ego and/or he has a deal with the GOP.

Yes, I talk like a trucker, so what? Words are words and if fuck and shit are the words that define my feelings then I use them.

21. I hate Ralph Nader's Campaign Strategy, too
That's why I'm suuporting David Cobb, the Green Party presidental candidate who will not campaign in the "battleground" states, where voters of Kerry are the most important. About 40 States are soildly for Bush or Kerry. Can't the progressives in those states get a chance to speak their voice?

Thanks for your well written and thoughtful critique of Ralph Nader's campaign.

Civil discussion and debate among progressives who hold different opinions on such questions is always welcomed on this website.

Now can someone find an "insult" board for that person to post at?

31. Regret?
Probably lots of Nadar voters regret their vote. Nevertheless, I think if these voters had been able to look into the future and had been able to see how close the election was going to be, then I think they would have voted for Gore. Others would have voted for Nadar no matter what because that is what they believed in.

38. Sigh...
Nader was part of the fault of Selection 2000, but everybody seems to conveniently forget the fraud in Florida, Gore's ridiculously lacklustre campaign, Monica (that people did not forget at the time.)

There's more, but what's saying anything going to accomplish?

Oh, I didn't vote for Nader. Gore was infinitely better.

And whle Nader is filth, shut the fuck up about the Green party.

And Nader's running under the Reform Party this year.

Having observed Clinton's 8 years of being a repuke enabler and of course the last 3 years of the Dems supporting the Bushit*, the Dem party is pretty much fucked up too.

They're all fucked up.
