Question: When did anybody think that Repukes would follow the law?
Think about it. They tipped their hand with Elian Gonzalez.

International law says that the child must be returned to a living parent, as I understood it.

Clinton was following the law.

Of course, Little Russia, er, Florida was controlled by a Bush, just happening to be the brother of a candidate in 2000, hell-bent on embarassing anything in the vicinity of Clinton.

Now, if some woman was flying to France with her kid to visit some relatives, and she suffered a heart attack and died en route, France would have to return the kid to the living, divorced father in the States, non?

Yet we would have screamed bloody murder if the French relatives of the deceased decided to keep the kid.

1. It reminds me of OJ's testimony.
He lied, people expected something else? Like a double murdering slasher shouldn't also be a liar?
