Bush says "Choose your friends carefully"

http://news.lycos.com/news/story.asp?section=Elections&storyId=867719
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Campaigning in the Deep South, President Bush on Friday defended the Iraq war, helped his party raise $2 million and shared life lessons with Louisiana State University graduates. "Choose your friends carefully," he told them.

The raid on Ahmad Chalabi's headquarters in Baghdad on May 20, 2004 marks an ignominious fall for a man who helped make the U.S. case to topple Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) but was seen as a duplicitous opportunist by U.S. diplomats and spies. Four months ago Chalabi was a guest of first lady Laura Bush at the State of the Union speech, Washington's premier political event, and a favorite of the Pentagon (news - web sites), which paid his Iraqi National Congress $340,000 a month for intelligence. President Bush (news - web sites) is shown with Chalabi (R) and Iraqi Governing Counsel member Dr. Jalal Talabani in Baghdad Nov. 27, 2003. (Larry Downing/Reuters)

3. Look at the way he stands. It's like a kindergartner posing for his first
class picture.

Bush chose his friends based on greed and crime. Hopefully we will all live long enough to see him punished for his choices.

5. By which, he means...
... hone one's interpersonal skills on those with money. Always helps to have rich friends if you're a hopeless screw-up who wants to be president....
