Congressional Accountability for Judicial Activism Act of 2004
The bill allows Congress to reverse the judgments of the United States Supreme Court.  I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that the homophobes in Congress realize and fear that discrimination against gays really is illegal and will eventually be decided by the supreme court.

1. If you look at the details of the bill...
... you'll find that it's more specifically about mixing religion and government (although I don't doubt that it could also be used for the purposes you suggest--its language is extremely broad).
