I'm worried about the folks in Georgia.
I remember seeing a few days ago that the Governor down in Georgia had just signed an EO putting them under martial law--the claim at the time was that they are concerned about the G8 meeting planned down there. What was odd about it was that the order was for most of the summer--not just the time before during and after the meeting.

Similarly, I remember seeing some article about two Israeli movers getting stopped trying to drive on to a military base in that same area. (They had some issue with expired visas or bad paperwork, I think??)

Anyhow, after yesterdays' announcement that the "tush" administration is expecting another terra attack and the intel seems to indicate it, I began to wonder about our DUers in Georgia...

I'm not sure, but if I lived down there near any strategic target I'd consider taking a vacation. Be careful you guys--OK?

AM I just paranoid?

1. Thanks, I am in Georgia and I am beginning to worry.
Plus, the fact that I work across the street from Dobbins Air Reserve Base is a little scary also.

4. Well, one aspect that I didn't mention was Florida.
Brother Jeb had activated the Florida Ntl. Guard with an EO just a couple of days before 9/11. What really stuck out in my mind was the fact that his EO cited "terrorism" when none of the previous ones ever had.

Now, as we all know, the chimp was in Florida on a photo op on 9/11 (well, till he turned bunny pants and had them fly Air Force One all over hell and back in fear, anyway.)

Out of curiosity, had he announced any plans to come see you guys anytime soon other than for that G8 meeting? You may be safest there because the chimp is planning to be THERE when the stuff hits the fan someplace else...

2. Are you kidding me I live in GA we can't even wear Anti-* t-shirts or
have anti * bumper stickers without risking harm 2 self or property.

I had a woman who doesn' even sit in the same building with me threaten to file a complaint beause we were listening to the AAR stream out loud. I figured it would take up less resources if we had one stream going aloud than 3 or 4 streams with headphones.

I'm gettin the hell outta this place.

5. Well I would complain if a few of my conservative co-workers
wanted to listen to Rush out loud for all of them. I am sure she felt the same about AAR.

6. I have anti-Bush posters plastered up all over my cubicle.

No one has said a word. Most of my office is Republican. But some people agree with me.

On edit: Not to mention that I work for a hunting and fishing publication and I have a PETA poster on one wall and a No Hunting sign on another. Those I did hear complaints about. But they died down after a while

7. did you catch this on 99x?
letter sent into 99x:

OFFENSIVE MATERIAL ON WNNX
Good day gentleman. Of course, you may not have good days much longer, thanks to your lack of respect for our President and the FCC. Just so you know what was said, I've attached the message I sent to the FCC last Friday about your show. I guy work with said Jimmy claimed to make $300K a year. That's great, because it will only take him a few years to pay off his portion of the fine. You other two might have a little more trouble.

I tuned this morning just long enough to hear that you're having America hater Bill Marr on your show tomorrow. The same Bill Marr who said the 9/11 terrorists were heroes and we are the cowards. Unless you want another complaint to the FCC, I suggest you either cancel the interview, or at least do everything in your power to make him understand how wrong he is. I will be monitoring your show tomorrow to make sure your don't allow any more indecent material on the air.

In your sick twisted minds, you probably think what you did was alright and that I'm a jerk. Well if you had kids your attitude would be totally different.

-Josh

Honorable Chairman Powell,

I am sending you this email in regard to inform you that some very offensive material was aired over public radio in Atlanta recently. On Thursday May 6 at about 9:00 AM, the "Don Miller Morning Show" on WNNX 99.7 FM allowed an anti-American, liberal so-called comedian named David Cross to come on their show and talk at length about how the current war for Iraqi freedom is bad, and how our esteemed commander-in-chief, George W. Bush, is terrible.

The Don Miller Morning show allowed this David Cross character several minutes to spew liberal anti-American lies and propaganda. They did not try to counter his arguments or shut him down. Many of the cast members even vocally agreed with several of his "points". He cast dispersions on our President, questioned his intelligence, and even had the gall to question our motivations for the war for Iraqi freedom. All of this was said over public airwaves and could be heard by impressionable children. I think everyone agrees that freedom of speech is important, but their are limits, especially when children could be given the wrong idea about our leaders and our country.

In addition, while corresponding with the Don Miller Morning Show by email over this matter, I was called several unmentionable names and my
intelligence was derided. One of the members of the show, "Jimmy Baron", who has admitted on air to being Jewish, even took the name of Jesus in vain.

According to their website, the members of the Don Miller Morning show are: Fred "Toucher" (the head), Jimmy Baron, Wally (last name unknown), Leslie Framm, "Crash" and "Calandro" . For your record, their is no "Don Miller". I have only had correspondence with the first three on this list, and I can only assume that most or even all of the show members are using fake "show-biz" names.

Thank for the attention I know you will give this matter, and thank you for the fine job you are doing in cleaning up America's airwaves.

Your Fellow Patriot,
Josh

9. "He cast dispersions on our President"
What, pray tell are "dispersions"?

Josh, author of this drivel, is obviously a dipshit freeper.

I'm sure we have our share of the same type of brain dead people here in Illinois as well.

12. Yes, but at least they seem to be fewer.
Although, in my Chicago neighborhood, I have not met one single Bush supporter, even out of the Republicans.
