Apparently Fox is NOT interested in "downplaying" this story.

I'm old enough to remember the Civil Defense Shelters from back in the 50's. Some people built bomb shelters in their back yards and stocked them with food and water. There were civil defense signs on buildings which meant that you could run inside one of them and shelter yourself from a nuclear attack. In school we were taught to "duck and cover" which meant to duck under your desk and cover your head with your hands. In all cases it was much more effective to stick your head between your legs and kill your ass goodbye!

...looks like it's about to make a comeback.

The Right Wing doesn't know how to play this story - they must be waiting for the talking points to come out.

Sure, it's "illegal" (or would be if a Democratic or non-aligned organziation was doing it) but as we now know, Imperial Family, Stooges, Allies, and Pravda Mouthpices are bound by NO LAW.

They could broadcast subliminal spots all the livelong day.., hell I'll bet they are already incorporating it into their "news" casts and WHAT exactly would they have to worry about.

A Heinrich A$hcrust "investigation"? Heh heh. They'd have to worry like Himmler had to worry about the SS Inspector General "invetsigating" them.

Perhaps the Democrats would...naah! Besides, the Democrats learned their lesson about "not crossing the line" for another chum of A$hcrust, the Anthrax Assassin.

You can find all kinds of similar "investiagtions" in the 1930s Confederacy that Heinrich loves so much.

...I just copied and pasted this from a thread I started yesterday re: Hannity's radio show. He comes back from every commercial saying that with "160 days left until the election, now more than ever it is critical to spend three hours a day...that is all we ask" listening to his show:

Female caller, sounded middle aged and seemed a little flustered to be on "live" with Hannity. She said:

"I wanna tell you that I just love President Bush..The Liberal Left and The Commie Democrats kinda make my heart hurt sometimes...my husband and I are your biggest fans, we LOVE you and we LOVE what you do."

Hannity then mentioned "161 days to the election" and told the caller:

"I want you to be afraid. I want you to have enough fear to go out and do something."

When it was time for her to go she said:

"We love you...we support you...we agree with you 99.9% of the time."

Hannity asked "What do you disagree with me on?"

And she said "I can't think of anything right now."

they're stiLL safe?

...but until Tom Ridge advises you otherwise, everything west, east, north and south of the crosshairs is "green."

If you look closely, the cross hairs are aimed at Kansas.

Maryland has been TRimmed off the map!

Look closely where the eastward horozontal cross line is,the map is blue where it should be green!

...they've already removed the graphic (replaced it with the "7 terror suspects"). OBL's face, whether he is dead / captured / actively planning an attack (or anywhere in between those extremes) is guaranteed to get an immediate negative reaction, and that...coupled with the crosshairs...is about as far as Fox needs to go to reach THEIR "base."

Ashcroft can't wait for martial law; he's biding time until 2005 (if they steal the election again) ... he hasn't thrown the net out as far as he wants to ... yet ...

They probably should cancel the Dem Convention ... and shut down the Internet ... you know, for security reasons ...
