The Greatest President we never got .
Just watched Mr Gore's Speech and was brought to tears and anger and sympathy. I hope this country realizes what happens if the wrong person gets in the white house and never lets it happen again. also the house and senate! Thinking of Gore in the white house is like a dream and then waking up to a nightmare that gets darker to realize that drunkass dumbass stole our country with the help of the supreme court. This country was hijacked before 9/11. I hope that Kerry can put in place a government that can fix itself and encourage this country to vote democratic forever.

1. I know....
I read the transcript at work and then just saw the last part of the speech when I got home. I've said this before and I mean it, I've had alot of tragedy in my life - I mean things writers couldn't make up. However, I consider 12/12/00 as one of the darkest days in American History. I rate the stealing of the White House as one of the top five worse events in my life, and believe me, that's saying alot. God Bless Al Gore.

3. He started up with the same old smarmy presentation
I was just starting to think how much better his words looked on paper than coming from him -- the usual Gore knock.

Then he really started to nail it. Right with "dragged the good name of America through the mud". His mockery of Bush's tough talk was fantastic. By the end, I thought he had handled the subject perfectly both thematically and rhetorically.

Outstanding job.
