Who will stand up for the families of 911 victims?
One only has to look at their plight to see the hard truth of what has come of their plight and their memories. Those who died that dark day have had their memories turn cold and lifeless within the chambers of the oil barons in Washington D.C. Their survivors have spoken out against such crimes of inhumanity, only to be broken of in mid-sentence.

Have you noticed that none of them have spoken out in favor of Bush's so-called war on terror? Do you see them standing by his side in support of actions that he and his spin doctors have called just? No, and they are not there.

Osama Bin Laden is no longer a household name nor are the likes of Saddam Hussein or his weapons of mass destruction. Of course we here know that such names and phrases are of fraudulent notions that have carried people away in caskets-for a war that was openly declared in the name of american freedoms.

I tell you that surely the families' rage is growing and seeping into the consciousness of all americans. One only needs to look at what happened to them all to see what compassionate conservatism really means. These people suffer and are without a voice.

And so begs the question, who shall speak for them-and ultimately all of us?

2. A few of the families have spoken out......but just a very few.........
You write: "Their survivors have spoken out against such crimes of inhumanity, only to be broken of in mid-sentence."

When you consider the spoke of family and loved ones connected to each of the 3500 killed on 9/11........it's easy to propose that there are at least 20,000 people who could band together in support of the victims and against Bush's exploitation of the tragedy.

BUT.....the US Govt paid them off with very healthy sums of money. A million bucks to this family. 4 million bucks to that family.

And the repayment price for this govt "assistance" (ie, bribe) is SILENCE for the most part. And it was a most successful bribe.

Anytime Bush tries to move on something quickly and supposedly from the goodness of his 'heart' there's something we should ALL be worried about.

The exploitation of this tragedy transcends the actual victims' survivors, though. Bush has maligned every single American. And look how few percentage-wise are speaking up about this.

The best possible thing that could happen would be for that 20,000+ directly associated with the 911 victims to come out unified against Bush......and loudly. They hold the keys. And, quite frankly, I am sorely disappointed in them ......but hope that will change.

3. The independent investigation is still going on I think
the congressional one is over, but the other one is going badly because the government intelligence agencies won't hand over the information and the families are PISSED. Someone correct me if I am wrong on this, I got this from a NOW interview with Max Cleland about a week or two ago, the intel people are stonewalling as much as they can.

They showed a press conference with the families and they are really upset because they can't get to the information and because of the 28 pages that were redacted, as it is looking more and more every day like this could have been prevented if the Bush family had not been in flagrante delecto (or dinero) with the bin Ladens and the saudis in general... more may be revealed, it is just taking a long time.
