5. Ditto!
Nobody was THIS angry in 2000 because the circumstances did not warrant such outrage.

33. Agree Clinton best,voted Gore !
I believe President Clinton was the best President this country has had in years ! However in this poll I voted for Gore ,cause I believe frist of all he actually won in 2000 and deserves to be President. Also I think Clinton did a wonderful job as President for eight years ,the whole time having to put up with the right wings B/S & constant verbal abuse of him ,while he was putting in 12+ hour days ! Opposed to there guy (bush) how has been on vacation more then at work ! The reality is that bush is such a terrible president ,that anyone would be a improvement ! If the American people actually vote the squatter into office,I will be completly dumbfounded, this is the worst of the worst, and even repugs (the ones with brains) realize how terrible of a President he is ,and if they truely love their country ,they will vote Dem this time to rid us once and for all of the bushes and their corrupt gang of thieves !

11. That Was A Tough Question Really
If the question was who do I want just for the minute it would be Wes Clark of course. If by it you meant which man most represents the model I would like for a President it would be Bill Clinton. But I chose Al Gore, because he is the man who is supposed to be President right now and I owe it to him at least to support that he is my choice already made.

hands down. Kennedy is the only other I would consider. If I could choose anyone, it wouldn't be a professional politician.

14. Nixon's the One!
He's tanned, he's rested, he's ready!

A corrupt man for corrupt times.

He's cool (room temperature, in fact). He's calm (doesn't go "over the top" like Al Gore or Howard Dean). And he's composed. Wait, that should be "decomposed."

Damn, I wish he was running this time!

Al, al...

How could you let them do this to you...to US???

Al, even in the phony, rigged, Freeped polls, you'd be leading 54-43!

Damn it Al, WHY DID YOU DO IT???

30. And he still may be the president yet!
The how would not be pretty, but it would be something that could and just might happen! Clear evidence of another election coup like we had in 2000 could touch off some very shocking things! If ther was ever a time to be on your toes now is the time! The civil war everyone is talking about in Iraq might happen on the block! Has the country been anymore divided than it is today since the last civil war? National insecurity is what the NeoKKKons have created!

31. Gore has the voice right, right now
I was starting to follow Dean.
Nothing against Kuccinich, but I must be missing something. He never appears presidential to me. He may have a good agenda that I'm not that familiar with.
One would really have to hope that Kerry can pep up a bit.
Oh that's right, he's good at closing.

38. I understand. But what's the point?
Plenty of Dem activists were bitching about Gore during and after the 2000 election, but now he's a hero. I agree that his speech was magnificent, and he's a major leader in the party. But, the sad thing is I can visualize Kerry being in that same position 5 years from now if we don't work like the dickens to get him elected. Imho, we should focus our energy and enthusiasm on Kerry. He, our country, and the world need and deserve nothing less.
