OMG....My Former Republican Boss is Market Mgr. Air America
This guy is the ultimate pig of GOP pigs -

I check up on him occassionaly to see if he found a job yet. No one would hire him after he'd been fired by every major broadcaster left in the country.

I ended up in a lawsuit with Clear Channel after he fired me...a nasty experience - but I thought it was well worth it to expose this bastard - now he goes and gets a job at Air America.

This is most upsetting

1. Is he the current Mktg. Mgr?
Or was he one of the moles that got canned? If he is there now you'd best write to AAR.

2. Yeah, really
they may not be aware of it. I heard they had some moles but got rid of them pretty quickly. Personally I think Ed Shultz is a mole ;-) .

9. Yeah
and he has expressed his dislike for AAR. Which only adds to my belief. Any true liberal would be ecstatic about AAR. I didn't say he was a mole for AAR, just a mole. ;-)

3. Is it Leon Clark?
I don't know anything about him...I just found his name on the AAR site. Could he be a new mole?

5. Well Now I Don't Know The Status - Station Not Listed on AAR
Edited on Fri May-28-04 11:23 AM by otohara
website - so maybe it's dead in the water and he is yet again out of a job....YEAH!!!!

AAR is in lawsuit with them:

Air America Stations Off The Air

Air America/Los Angeles Market Manager Bob Visotcky confirms to R&R that KBLA has removed Air America from the station, but declined to comment further on why the liberal talk network's programming was taken off the station. WNTD/Chicago has also removed Air America programming from its station, and while an Air America spokesman declined to comment on the matter, he did say that he was "collecting information" and would know more later today. While it was not confirmed what WNTD is airing at this time, R&R has confirmed that KBLA is airing a network feed of Radio Formula, a Spanish-language News/Talk network based in Mexico. Calls to WNTD's main telephone line are greeted by a message that announces the station is "not accepting calls at this time." KBLA and WNTD are both owned by Arthur Liu's Multicultural Radio Broadcasting.

7. Here's an article from a couple of days ago....
http://www.mediaweek.com/mediaweek/magazine/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000517273

-snip-

One of the first things Sinton did when trouble broke out was to cut 20 people from the sales staff in Los Angeles and Chicago, where the network no longer had affiliates. A much trimmer sales staff of four now operates out of New York under Leon Clark, director of sales. John Manzo, a Clear Channel-trained radio programmer from WJNO-AM in West Palm Beach, Fla., who was the producer for Randi Rhodes, AAR's afternoon drive host, handles programming, network operations and production. He shares programming duties with Shelley Lewis and Lizz Winstead, who, in addition to hosting the 9 a.m.-to-noon slot, supervises the comedy writers, a couple of news writers and program producers.

-snip-

Sinton is Jon Sinton, AAR's president and its first employee.

8. Found This Quote - Bush League Practices
"I have never witnessed such bush league business practices in my life!" - Bob Visotcky, Air America/LA market manager

He has a big tendency to make up titles for himself - so the title Market Manager is bogus since this station is/was the only LA station. What a moran!

11. I Found This - Market Manager My ASS
The following came from the O'Franken Factor blog this morning. Does anyone know anything about it?

So what is the real story about Air America Radio not paying their employees in Los Angeles?

"We have not been paid for almost four weeks now, we did not receive our expense checks or given formal notice of being terminated,” emailed Air America LA market manager Bob Visotcky. “Our insurance that was promised on May 1st has not been paid. They didn't pay our rent in L.A. after promising to do so on several occasions. Al Franken's book title describes the Air America honchos that hired us, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them. How can they still be broadcasting if they don't pay their people and their bills? I've worked in many start-ups but I have never witnessed such bush league business practices in my life. They talked a great story but couldn't deliver.

Now this sounds like the Bob Visotcky I know and despise....Say goodbye to your so called market manager position BOB
