My concern is NOT with how Kerry campaigns.......
As long as he gets elected, I am fine with his being more proper and less out-spoken. His speech yesterday sounded pretty good.

HOWEVER....I get furious with those around him who either do not stand up for the truth speakers or who actually are critical of them.

I think it hit me really hard when I heard Wendy yesterday on Crossfire as the Kerry spokesman. She allowed the GOP side to get away with putting Gore down by comparing him to Dean. She made no effort to stand up for Gore or Dean.

Then, to top it off, she said (paraphrasing) Gore was passionate because he was speaking to the MoveOn audience that did not know what to do with themselves....what the heck does that mean?

I do not care how Kerry campaigns as long as he wins. We donated to him, and we intend to vote for him. I care very much when his spokesmen or other Democrats are critical of people like Gore and Dean speaking out with the truth.

I expect the GOP to criticize them. I do NOT expect it from our Democrats.

2. Indeed
I've heard Kerry spokespeople pooh-pooh BBV too. Not good.

8. Can it be that Kerry Really Doesn't Know What He's Up Against??
> I've heard Kerry spokespeople pooh-pooh BBV too. Not good.

That's really bad news. If he doesn't believe it after all that has come out,
he'll believe it after his comfortable double-digit lead evaporates on election night.

I think we'd rather it didn't come to that.

3. Exactly!
It's not a good idea, IMO, to try and marginalize them in that way. In essence, they're just agreeing with gross mischaracterizations of people that have a proven track record of people getting behind them.

6. I read that his "people" were scorning the Gore speech when they
received a courtesy copy of it before he delivered same. I hope that isn't true but I must say it does jive with my experience of the Kerry folks.

7. That concerns me a lot.
I would like to know more about that. I hope it is not true.

9. Again, that's complete bullshit
I can't remotely imagine why anybody would find anything wrong with this statement. And I find, "I expect the GOP to criticize them. I do NOT expect it from our Democrats.", incredibly hysterical considering half of the posts around here are attacks on Kerry. And when Kerry supporters simply ask for a debate of issues, and to leave the attacks on Kerry out of it, we're called nazi stormtroopers who are stifling dissent.

WENDY: Yesterday, Vice President Gore was expressing the frustration of all of those folks in the MoveOn audience who just don't know what to do with themselves.

TUCKER: Should he do it at home locked in the bathroom?

They both laugh somewhat uncomfortably.

WENDY: No.

10. You are saying I do that. I don't do that. Don't generalize so much.
I for one happen to think it is not that good to criticize Kerry's campaigning on the Democratic board. However, I do think it is ok to discuss issues.

Again, I say:
What does this statement mean:

"Vice President Gore was expressing the frustration of all of those folks in the MoveOn audience who just don't know what to do with themselves."

What does this mean? Does it indicate that I am a little lost sheep or something?
