Does George W. Bush really bicycle?
Have you seen any video or stills of George W. Bush bicycling within the past five years?

If so, was he on a dirt bike going down a mountain?

4. As a Texan, I'm on safe ground here when I say
There are NO mountains in Crawford Texas or any of the surrounding communities.

Bike-ridin'-George? That IS a new one but more curious to my bike riding husband is the "mouth guard" he was reportedly wearing.

5. Actually
...he was an avid jogger/runner and had to stop because of his knees....so the 411 is that he's taken up biking since he can't jog.

11. I've seen no images of bush doing anything other than jogging
falling off the Seqway and displaying scrapes from his recent bike fall.

Bush fails Segway test

Bush slightly hurt in jogging mishap (1999 USA Today)

This next article lists his other mishaps - the pretzel incident, for one. You would think that with a VIP like this his handlers would recommend getting pictures of him successfully riding a bike. Not just a bike, a Mountain Bike. If he hadn't fallen off Rove would probably have said Kerry rides a wussy French bike and bush rides manly, rugged bike.

Bush falls on bike ride

Kerry, on the other hand, was recently pictured riding a bike and people spent lots of time critiquing the color of his outfit. This article even talks about the brand of Kerry's bike: "The Massachusetts senator was riding his custom Serotta bicycle, and was wearing a helmet."

9. he eats so much junk food that the WH was getting worried ...
No more jogging because he's messed up his knees with his macho attempts to outpace 25-year-old Secret Service agents (e.g. at his egotistical "Fun Run"). So W's started developing a paunch, which is sure at odds with the "fittest man in America" image they've invested so much in. Hence the sudden interest in biking.

Knowing how accident-prone Bush is (conspicuous wounds at least a half-dozen times since the election -- google "significant strawberry", for example) ... it's no wonder they're making him wear a mouthguard.

12. This is all Rove bullshit. The asshole Bush* fell down drunk or
had a seizure. Same as the pretzel crap. I cannot believe the stupidity of people who believe this crap (probably 80% of 'Murkins')

15. Just trying to be competitive....

And not quite making it.

The only mountains in Texas are way out west. Crawford has gullies & ravines.
