Memorial Day Weekend Thoughts...

Travel, a long weekend, Bar-B-Que's, fishing....some of the joys of Memorial Day Weekend.

I have a request though, and it isn't a toughie. If, by luck or happenstance, you are DC this weekend...please, seek out a vet and thank him or her. Nothing big; nothing spectacular...just a thank you.

For those of us across the rest of the nation...Please, take just a moment to think of those that gave all of their tomorrows, so we could have today. If you see a vet, thank him or her. If you go to a cemetery, take a small bunch of flowers and put them on a grave of someone you don't know, or ever knew...straighten up a flag that has been blown over by the breeze...take a moment and think of the sacrifice made during the years of war, all wars; by all of our citizens.

To all of my fellow vets...a hearty Thank You, and Well Done!!!

Enjoy the weekend...but spend just a moment remembering those that made this all possible.

Then...we can get back to fight and get these bastards out of OUR WH!
