"Dewey Wins"!!!!!!
Edited on Fri May-28-04 11:59 PM by salinen
Kerry has already won. People have lives to live, and stuff to do, and bills to pay. Laci, Kobe, Janet, and Martha are not doing the trick to keep ChimpCo off the front page. One day it's Asscrack, the next Condi, tomorrow Rummy, Sunday it's Powell, and who wants to see or hear from the child again?

Fatigue has set in. Bad actors in another bad movie. Fresh faces for the sake of fresh faces. Give the new guy a shot at it.

If these "adults" were doing such a grand job, we wouldn't be hearing their names so much. Leaders need to lead, not become folk heroes.

1. 'Fatigue has set in' is an excellent way to describe it
These scandals may not individually make much of a dent in his support, much to our stupefaction, but collectively they have eroded his numbers something fierce--people are tired of this bullshit.

3. Hooray for Our Side
I'm feeling pretty vindicated. After two years of telling people that Dubya would lose the 2004 election, and having them look at me like I was a mad dreamer, I'm glad they see that there really is hope for the country.
