First Private Lynch, now poor bastard Tillman manipulated by neocons
I think it's tragic Pat Tillman, who by his family's statements was not a religious person, had to die in Afghanistan let alone take it in the back from one of his own men in a "friendly fire" incident (although personally, I don't think I'd feel it was that friendly if I'd been shot by one of my own men.) That his death was manipulated by the neo con WHORES when it happened to try and drum up patriotism without revealing this fact that colors the story in a slightly different light as well as how they manipulated Jessica Lynch's misfortune shows the ends that they will go to use people to further their own agendas.

WASHINGTON - Pat Tillman, the former Arizona Cardinals football player who died in April while a U.S. soldier fighting in Afghanistan, likely was killed by friendly fire, an Army investigation has concluded.

News of that finding was disseminated Friday to some members of Congress and some Tillman family members just as the Memorial Day weekend was to begin, including today's dedication ceremonies in Washington of the World War II Memorial.

"It does seem pretty clear that he was killed by friendly fire," said Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., a member of the House Armed Services Committee, which was alerted to the information by the Army's Legislative Liaison Office.

"This does not take away one iota from the heroic nature and courage of the man. The source of that fire is of little consequence in terms of heroism," Franks said. He said that after learning of the Army's conclusions, he made some follow-up inquiries and was satisfied the information was accurate.

1. Lynch has joined them.
She's going around with the Zig Ziglar seminar promoting Rudy Giuliani and flagwaving. She sold out big time.

2. Sad but true...

"Of the 15,000 people seeking motivation in the Charlotte Coliseum on Tuesday, none are more eager to show up than David Byrum and Dave Rosen.

It's 6:15 a.m., nearly two hours before the Get Motivated! seminar started with its fireworks and roving searchlights and up-tempo music, and the friends -- two 30-something former military guys -- are the first to claim seats.

They're here this early to get a good view of the big names -- former prisoner of war Jessica Lynch, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Carolinas Panthers coach John Fox and quarterback Jake Delhomme. And they wanted to save prime seats for a dozen of their co-workers at the Charlotte office of Premier Mortgage, where they're senior loan officers."

3. America should be outraged it wasn't told this from the getgo
You know that they knew how he died.

You know they fucking lied about it because they needed a "hero".

America should be fucking PISSED OFF that they used this poor guy's tragic death for propganda purposes.

7. I didn't realize she crossed back over to the dark side.
Here's an interesting question.

Had Private Lynch gotten pregnant from the POW rape incident, do you think the neo-cons would have expected her to carry the child to term or allowed her the opportunity to control her own body?

I'd love tossing this into the arena when they talk about restricting a woman's right to choose.

In fact... I think I'll start a poll.

8. doen't mean she's a Republican
Just because Pvt. Lynch spoke at the same Motivational Speaking event as Guiliani doesn't mean she's a Republican.

Also, she wasn't raped.

Some idiot doctor who saw that her butt was injured weeks later (along with lots of other injuries) concluded that she was anally raped, but she remembers no such thing.
