It's a beautiful day in NYC. Walk by the Marc Jacobs store in the Village!
Edited on Sat May-29-04 04:41 PM by Stephanie

Marc Jacobs has the most beautiful window display you've ever seen, and it's drawing a crowd on the sidewalk.

He has blown up the Bush Cards and hung them in the window. He is selling Bush toilet paper. He is selling anti-Bush bumper stickers. He is selling the most gorgeous clothes you ever saw.

I love Marc Jacobs!

Welcome to NYC, you Republican conventioneers. You are going to get a rude awakening this August. You're going to learn the TRUTH about your hero George W. Bush, whether you want to or not. It's going to be in your face.

10. Friends, Bush-hating is in fashion.
Truth-telling is avant-garde.

Bush is Toast.

11. I saw it today...
It was actually really interesting and there are some shirts for sale there for reasonable prices. But I'd rather vote to get him out of office than wear a trendy shirt in downtown Manhattan, where everyone hate Bush anyway. And I worry about Bush hating being "in fashion" How many of the people that hate Bush because it's cool to do so-you really do see them around-are actually going to vote to get him out of there? How many of them are actually registered to do so?

12. Darling
Hit 'em high
Hit 'em low
Hit 'em hard
Hit 'em again!

To each his own and we need to fight BushCO at every level, from every angle, all the time. Seventh Avenue opposition doesn't take anything away from MoveOn opposition. Everyone's doing his part. You don't need to buy the shirt, but it sure felt good to look at the window, didn't it?

13. So don't buy the shirt!
It's not about the shirt, it's not about Marc Jacobs being a campaign office or voter reg site, it's just one more sign the Chimp is in trouble -- and one more entity daring to come out against him. It's long been "fashionable" in many circles to bash Democrats, claim to praise Jesus while preaching pure hatred, and shout that only the Chimp, the great Patriot, can save us from those terrorists! If fashion in other circles now helps defeat the Chimp, it's fine with me.
