Dumbya keeps Saddam gun at White House
What a whacko!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A handgun that Saddam was clutching when U.S. forces captured him in a hole in Iraq last December is now kept by President Bush at the White House, a spokesman confirmed on Sunday.

Bush shows Saddam's gun to select visitors, telling them it is unloaded, both now and when Saddam was captured, Time reported.

"He really liked showing it off," Time quoted a visitor as saying. "He was really proud of it."

3. By keeping that gun......
Shrub may be breaking the law.
Since he did not retrieve it on the spot in saddam's hidey hole, it had to have been given to him as a gift. Now, there is a limit on the cash value of gifts given to a sitting president.
The personal gun of Saddam Hussein carries with it great historical value and as a result, is worth a shit pot of money. I would guess several thousand dollars and if put up for auction, might bring in over 100 thouand.
If the gift passes a certain value level, it must be turned over to the GAO. I bewlieve not to do so could represent a federal crime on a felony level.

5. I thought that too.
Remember the stink about Hillary and Bill Clinton supposedly keeping gifts given them during Clinton's term? It seems the "rules" only apply to our side.
