They Distort...

In the vein of Fox News' "They Distort" I was reading a posting on freak republic about something that I had written six weeks ago about shrubbie. I had said in my post that "When I was younger (in the 70's) some christian right-wing nut bag had described the anti-christ as coming from political and economic priviledge, etc." then I said, "That description sounds more like shrub than hussein." I never said the anti-christ was shrub. On the freaker site they posted that I said he was the anti-christ. then some freaker said we were attacked first. correct me if i'm wrong, but iraq never attacked the u.s. Al Qaeda attacked the US.
From where I sit, it looks like the freakers at freak republic have been watching faux news.

they slander, they fabricate, they threaten, they belittle, they condescend, they moralize, they dehumanize, then they eat breakfast.

I was working for awhile in Edwardsville, IL (just across the river from St. Louis). One of the girls I was working with justified Afghanistan, Iraq, and called for overt persecution of all Arabs and Muslims. Her explanation was that after 9/11, she didn't care if we just killed them all. I pointed out that 99% of the Arab world didn't have anything to do with 9/11, and she just blinked. "What do you mean? We should just kill them all and be done with it."

Congratulations, Shrub. Here's to your "effective" leadership in this time of crisis.
