the pres. doesn't obey the 10 commandments., why should we?

having big blow ups over the displaying of the 10 commandments on government property is so silly. no one really obeys all of them anyway right? and no one has ever been struck by lightening after breaking them. have you ever envied your neighbors new car, or looked at his cute wife's wiggle? you could be hell-bound.

and certain commandments carry more weight than others. coveting thy neighbor's wife, or thy neighbor's ass, or thy neighbor's wife's ass, is a very grave sin indeed, but our president and his crew have taken coveting thy neighbor's oil and land to ridiculous proportions.

and talk about bearing false witness! every time this guy opens his monkey face false witness just pours out of him like a waterfall.
and we all know from very recent history that any president who bears false witness goes to impeachment hell.

but the most grievous breach of the commandments is the one that states, 'thou shalt not kill'. has little georgey broken that commandment? in texas? in afghanistan? in iraq? in new york city?

god apparently looks down on even one killing, but the killing of thousands of people must hold a special gravity, and there must be a special place in god's hell for those who would ignore this most grave commandment. i know christians mr. president, and you're no christian.

is far from silly. We are inching ever closer to a theocracy. I'm not ready to submit to the american taliban. I realize that you are just taking a well deserved slap at the idiot and his evil minions but there are many out there who believe absolutely that the US is a christian nation that should governed not by the law of man but by their interpretation of the law of god. If these people had their way (and they may get it!) you and I and those who think as you and I think , would find ourselves in jail or rehabilitation camps.

That being said, bush is certainly no christian but he has fooled a large percentage of amerikans into believing that he is. That is dangerous.

Sorry for the mini-rant but separation of church and state is a hot button issue for me.

The fact the guy orders the killing of children and innocent men and women is truly damning. BTW: Where do Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell fall on the issue of actually following Christian precepts? With the money changers. Every time.

Because I'm not a Christian, and last I checked, despite the best efforts of the Republican Party, I still live in a secualr country not ruled by religous leaders. So I will worship whatever non-Judeo-Christian gods I want, including, if I so desire, graven images and I will not keep the Christian or Jewish sabbath holy and on occiasion I will take the Judeo-Christain god's name in vain and from time to time I might even covet my neighbor's oxen.
