Now that the Reagan funerals are over the media now brings us....

O.J. Simpson...10 YEARS LATER!

On the next Dateline NBC brings us their main story of the O.J. Simpson murder trial. You know the other networks are going to follow suit as well.

God. What kind of media do we have in this insane country??

went on. You would think they could give some real journalist some needed work and start reporting on issues that people can do something about. Or atleast investigating the issues. The man (O.J.) can't be re-tried again for the same crime anyway. Wonder what would be their point with this. I saw an interview with him just about aweek ago, prior to the RR funeral, talking about the same stuff.

4. I heard a talkshow host last night

bitching about the news channels doing infotainment rather than news.

I hope a Democratic Leader can do something about it. It's just disgusting. Keep infotainment on designated channels. DO the NEWS of the NEWS channels...AND do ALL the news, not just one sided crap.

It's really frustrating isn't it. :mad:

And force them to carry a bold print disclaimer at the bottom of the screen stating that their content is "100% infotainment". :)

7. If it's not about sex or murder

the rest of the news is trash canned. They feel it's not worth reporting. Our country is in sad shape.Until we can get rid of the rightwing media whores and the trash they work for,things will only get worse,I'm afraid.I know years ago it wasn't like this. We got the news,good or bad but at least we got what was really happening in the world,not a 24/7 saturation of tabloid gossip and gasbag pundit opinions.
