Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Poppy and *

For the last 36 years Dems have controlled the White House for 12 years or about 1/3 of that time. Considering all the of scandals, lying, deceit, indictments and crimes, why is it that Rethugs are in total control?

Nixon resigned in disgrace.

Ford was never elected.

Bush didn't get reelected.

Shrubby didn't win the popular vote and really didn't even win the electoral college.

Reagan is the only one they can really claim as a "success".

Republicans have won because they a) cheat, and because b) they play on white people's fears and prejudices of gays, blacks, and others.

4. Clinton's political scalp.

Clinton tells a little fib and congress wants him hanged. Measure his benchmark against what the opposition has managed over the years and it boggles the brain. Statistically this country isn't that one sided. I cannot figure it out. Has the L word defeated us for so many years?

6. That's it....

We are a country with far too many morons. There's an anti-intellectual history that is very strong, and it is what the 'thugs play on. Also there is WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY too much psuedo-xtianity and too much xtianity of any sort. What do you expect when so many claim to believe those myths?
