What War On Terror??
What exactly is Bush doing to end terrorism? I'm mystified as to why he
continues to get high polling numbers for fighting the war on terror when,
as far as I can tell, he isn't doing a damn thing.

As we know (or should know) Irag had nothing to do with the people
responsible for 9/11. Apparently the Taliban are regrouping in
Afghanistan, and the country is in chaos. Osama Bin Laden is still at
large.

So how is Bush making us safer from Terrorism?

8. Yeah, but Al Queda does exist...
and needs to be stopped. I agree that it can't be done with conventional
warfare.

Americans need to be asking Bush to prove what exactly he is doing to
end any more Al Queda attacks, both here and in other countries.

2. If you ask me, he is making the matter worse.
I am sure recruitment is up and we all know from the Global Terror Report that is about to be adjusted to tell the truth, terror attacks are on the rise.

He has turned his back on any Isreali/Palestinian peace, we invaded an Arab nation without just cause and are abusing prisoners and detaining innocent Arabs around the world.

He isn't winning anything, he is making matters worse.

3. He's been making more terrorists. Is he doing it deliberately?
That is the question.

He said this would be a long war and implying (if not saying) that it's bad to remove a war-time president (not that it hasn't been done before...)

4. oh. you thought it was an actual "war"
you know, fighting the bad guys.

there's your mistake.

The "war" on "terror" is actually the code name for the bushgang's PR campaign currently running on the cable news networks, ABC and NBC.

5. He isn't making us safer and there is no war on terror.
The war on terror is nothing more than a disguise for repressing people who don't agree with this country's plans to create a global empire for itself.

The rhetoric being used is the same as it is for any other aggressive war the US has been involved in. For instance, the Philippines and the wars against the Native American Indians.

The Democrats, for the most part, are showing themselves to be accomplices to the crimes of Bush.

The war on terror is a war against us. It isn't a war against a country or a just war...it is a war to perpetuate social and economic injustice though out the world.

6. It's the new "war on drugs" which was in turn the new "cold war".
Representatives of the defense industry (like Bush) are always desperately searching for the next big war. Bush has gleefully commented on many occasions that this is a war without end, a "new kind of war".

But in reality it's all one big excuse to cram through their own agendas and make alot of money for their friends.

7. Buthaina Shaaban , Syrian Foreign Ministry on C-Span this
morning said you fight terror like Zapatero is doing now: by joining forces with other countries (like Morocco)to combat terrorism instead of invading a country like Iraq.
War on terror is not even good grammar.
