Newsweek CW gives Ron Jr Up Arrow for dissing * in eulogy
With up arrow. Ron Jr.Gives moving memorial to a "gentle man," knocks W for using religion for political advantage.

And gives Bush sideways arrows.Tries to hook his wagon to Reagan, but it's a bumpy ride when you're not a great communicator.

7. No it's not. The expression uses "Hitch", not "hook".

2. Great!
I'm so delighted that Ron Jr.'s words are echoing through the press.
I was afraid that, like anything anti-*, they would be ignored.

Someone ought to do a cartoon of Rove trying to hitch a little Red Ryder wagon to Reagan's tombstone.

3. Yea!
"Dad was also a deeply, unabashedly religious man. But he never made the fatal mistake of so many politicians wearing his faith on his sleeve to gain political advantage. True, after he was shot and nearly killed early in his presidency, he came to believe that God had spared him in order that he might do good. But he accepted that as a responsibility, not a mandate. And there is a profound difference."

9. hahahah! wondered what that banana flanna fleener thing I saw
the other day meant.

crax me up!

and from the "tell us something we don't already know" department:

somebody on the radio the other day talked to Arthur Miller about dumbo's communication abilities (Miller had done a piece on presidential communicators awhile back, and the interviewer wanted his chimptake). Miller says he's VERY bad at this task; a horrible actor, probably the WORST presidential communicator we've ever had
