Does the Bush regime have a new ad out ?
Seems I recall someone posting this a couple of days ago? Something about John Kerry being a "pessimist"? Has anyone seen it? What state are you in?

If true, it is so blatantly and boldy false, because John Kerry has had nothing but positive and optimistic ads on the air? It is Bush that has been negative and telling people they should be fearful - they want to make sure people vote for the right person in these dangerous times, etc...

what's the rationale behind these new ads?

2. There was a report out that Bush had gone negative

far more than Kerry had. Actual percentages were cited.

I'd say that negative ads would have to be categorized as pessimistic, since they are, in fact, NEGATIVE.

I'll try to find that report.

3. I am not sure if it is new but it is the chimp talking about how wonderful
the economy is (of course using 9-11 and the war as reasons why it was bad) how many jobs have been created and what a rosy future we all have.

He then states that Kerry is still talking about the great depression and ends with "one thing is for sure, pessimism NEVER created a job".

It is a bullshit ad just like the rest of them. It is in line with using a casket, running on NCLB and Kerry being against the Patriot Act (God forbid!)

No wonder he is sinking in the polls!

The only time I see the ads are watching CNN. I don't see any on the local level.

On edit: Fact Check states the following:

27% of Kerry's ads have attacked Bush by name, while 75% of Bush's ads have attacked Kerry.
