Guess what? Zapatero's party winning again.
Just saw on Spanish TV that the PSOE (Zapatero's party) is again winning over the PP (Aznar's party) in the European Parliament elections. Both have healthy chunks of the vote, but the PSOE is ahead. Guess the election in March wasn't an anomaly. How will Aznar and Bush spin that?

It doesn't even matter at all that Spain's support for the was immensely unpopular among the citizenry of the country, also known as the constituency, they're still giving in to the terrorists!

The righties will continue to call the Spaniards "spineless".

The Spaniards made a stand after their terrorist attacks. If Aznar had not decided to kiss Bush's bottom and sent troops to Iraq, there most likely would not have been terrorist attacks in Madrid. Zapatero is the best thing to happen to left-wing politics in a long time. It is not giving in, it is being smart!

4. The Spanish are not idiots. They are able to see the ongoing train wreck
that is IraqNam and the shrub administration and realize that they need to "go in a different direction", to use business speak.
