We need talking points against Bush
Is there a list somewhere of short, to-the-point items on why people should vote Bush out of office? You know, things like: he invaded a country under false pretenses, he outed a CIA agent, has grown the deficit to record levels, jobs lost overseas, etc.

The way I see it, you need to argue different points to different people. If I was talking to a fiscal conservative, I would talk about how Bush has run up huge deficits. If I was talking to a veteran, I would mention how Bush has cut veteran benefits.

I would like to see a list, and I know it would be long, of all the things we could use to argue with the initiated. Sort of like a menu.

2. Maybe we should have people propose pieces
Then one person puts it all together. Here's my addition:

(Simple one) To privacy advocates - Patriot Act provisions reducing judicial oversight

Libertarians - number of departments grew again (D. O. Homeland Security) and government powers grew as far as surveillance, police powers, etc

5. Operation of government in secrecy, unilateral abrogation of treaties
which were the law of the land, and willful destruction of the environment, the fiscal integrity of the Federal government and the dollar which foreshadows the gutting of social security and Medicare and most of the safety net. Could add hundreds and hundreds, but since a short list is requested, will even not include the launching of a seemingly illegal, immoral, inhumane pre-emptive war based on lies, distortions and misrepresentations.

8. Speaking as a veteran.........
the thing I despise most about him is he can send our kids to the other side of the world to protect his interests without any reservations but he has yet to meet the first KIA's coffin as it arrived back in the States. Gutless, spineless bastard.

9. The BEST overview of Bush's beneficence to the wealthy
The following link a terrific summary of Bush's tax policies. Great info to have at hand. For instance

"Bush surrounded himself with middle-class families to
launch his tax cut campaign in 2001. When a reporter
asked why no one was representing the top bracket, Bush
laughingly replied, "I beg your pardon. I'm
representing...the top tax bracket."

George and Laura Bush reported income of $822,126 on
their 2003 tax return, putting them in the top 1
percent. Dick and Lynne Cheney topped the Bushes with
$1,900,339, including $627,005 in tax-exempt interest
on municipal bonds and $178,437 in deferred
compensation from Halliburton.

Administration tax policies have been good for them,
but not for the country."

10. He is not able to discharge his duties as President.
That is patently obvious and Congress should invoke the Constitutional provision to remove him from office and Cheney, too, whose health would prevent him from assuming the Presidency. IMHO.

12. Most of this is commonsense.
I have no problem enumerating points off the top of my head concerning Bush's reign of error.
