Did Dubya ever meet Reagan?

I was curious after I saw Dubya's eulogy of Reagan on TV. All the other speakers, including Dubya's Father, talked of their personal experiences with Reagan.

Dubya didn't.

To explain this curiosity, I think we have three options:

1. He never met him, or
2. He met him but had no meaningful communications with him, or
3. He met him and the communication between the two isn't repeatable in public.

Another thought about this:

Dubya is 55 years old, right? As the legend goes, he put down the bottle and turned from his evil ways on his 40th birthday. That would have been 15 years ago....1989. At that time, Poppy was Pres, not Reagan. Reagan left in '88. So Dubya would have still be ....
ahem....partaking all during Reagan's years..........

Would that be why he never met him or didn't have a memorable conversation with Reagan?

Probably doesn't amount to much, but I was a little taken aback by it and am looking for clues.

It probably wasn't anything past pleasantries though.

I saw Raygun on C-SPAN the other night when he gave a speech at the Repub convention in 1992. The camera panned across the Bush family, and there was the punk ass Bush sitting there all cocky and stupid.

Meanwhile, Raygun went on and on with his vile rhetoric, calling Bill Clinton Slick willie etc.. What an SOB Raygun was. For those of you who fantasize about his presidency, you don't remember what a piece of shit he was.

In the video you see Gipper shake boy blunder's hand and looks like a few words are exchanged. This appeared to be at the Convention and that Raygun appears to know who boy blunder is. The announcer, I forgot if it was C-SPAN or CNN who was showing it then makes the inevitable Raygun to Bunnypants connection :barf:!! That's when I hit the channel changer yet again.

Bush quit drinkin in 1986.

but Boy George was probably drunk at the time and doesn't remember. :evilgrin:
