STOP THE STOPPERS! SHOW SUPPORT FOR MIKE MOORE!

The wing-nuts on the right are trying to harass theater chains into refusing to show Farenheit 9-11. They have a list of e-mail addresses posted at this link here: http://www.moveamericaforward.org/MichaelMoore/

I say we counter their effort by contacting the folks on their list and letting them know we support their decision to show the film. We also want to contact those who have yet decided and encourage them to show the film.

I've emailed all stating my support and thanking them for standing up to the right's Nazi tactics.

They also said that even if you disagree with Moore's polemics, it's VERY hard to refute the presentation he makes. They rated F9/11 higher for the week than Harry Potter, which they also loved.

They also said that F9/11 makes no pretense to be objective, and this is Moore's movie, and it should be taken at that. It's strong, in your face, angry, funny, and chock full of information. Roeper said it's better than BFC.

They played a clip where Bush* was playing golf in the months before 9/11, taking 42% of his first 8 months off to loaf around. The Go-Gos' "Vacation" was playing in the background.
