is Skip@theavon.com. That is the little downtown theater in Decatur, Illinois where I intend to go see the documentary. Here is the response I got from him

Will you come to the Avon even if Kerasotes plays it??
After all, I'm the one who has received three death threats from these supposed patriots.
(And we have better popcorn)...

I responded that I would much rather support a local theater then a national chain and that I will support his early decision to show the documentary. So, absolutely I will drive 30 miles to see the film in Decatur.

What is this world coming to that people get death threats for practicing freedom of speech?

2. "death threats" - I'd love to have the venom spewed by the people

trying to limit the release of this film shown to the public. It needs to get some air time during the discussions of the film.

5. I am sure theaters around the country are receiving their fair share of

RW hate mail. I am sure that letters that show concern for a free exchange of ideas and opinions are *alot* better then "You're a commie, american hating, terrorist loving faggot who is a poster boy for abortion! You are an enemy of God and America so move to France!" That is a fine way to win over support! I am sure they are relieved to get emails that are sensible rahter then full of death threats and name calling.

(I don't come by this hate mail naturally, I read through Altermans hate mail just an hour ago and periodically read DU's hate mailbag)

10. The Avon theater is a nice little theater in downtown Decatur that Skip

Huston renovated. Like I said above, I would rather support a local theater then a huge corporation.

My husband knows Skip Huston. He is one heck of a guy and worthy of your worship! :)
